In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Cafecito y Chisme is a four-week community series created for Latines (he/she/they) in our community to gather, connect, laugh, reflect, and celebrate our culture and the experiences that bring us together.
Because sometimes the best conversations begin over a cup of coffee.
Each Wednesday, we'll explore a different theme through guided conversations, interactive activities, cultural reflection, storytelling, and opportunities to connect. Each gathering will build on the one before it, creating a space where we can get to know one another, form meaningful connections, and explore what culture, identity, family, wellness, and community mean to us.
You don't need to have the perfect words or feel pressured to share more than you're comfortable with. This is a space to come as you are, meet new people, enjoy good conversation, and, of course, share some laughs and a little chisme along the way.
Whether you come for the cafecito, the conversation, the activities, or simply because you're looking for more comunidad, there's a seat at the table for you.

En celebración del Mes de la Herencia Hispana, Cafecito y Chisme es una serie comunitaria de cuatro semanas creada para que Latines (el, ella, ellos) de nuestra comunidad puedan reunirse, conectar, reír, reflexionar y celebrar nuestra cultura y las experiencias que nos unen.
Porque a veces las mejores conversaciones comienzan con una taza de café.
Cada miércoles exploraremos un tema diferente a través de conversaciones guiadas, actividades interactivas, reflexión cultural, historias y oportunidades para conectar. Cada encuentro continuará la conversación de la semana anterior, creando un espacio donde podamos conocernos mejor, formar nuevas conexiones y explorar juntes lo que significan para nosotres la cultura, la identidad, la familia, el bienestar y la comunidad.
No tienes que llegar con las palabras perfectas ni compartir más de lo que quieras. Este es un espacio para venir tal como eres, conocer a otras personas, disfrutar de buena conversación y, por supuesto, compartir unas risas y un poquito de chisme.

Coping with Grief During the Holidays
The holiday season can bring up complicated emotions when you’re grieving the loss of someone you love. Traditions may feel different, memories can surface unexpectedly, and there can be pressure to participate or “be okay” during a time that doesn’t always feel joyful.
Coping with Grief During the Holidays is a one-time, two-hour support group facilitated by Arielle Arbushites, MSW, LSW, CPLC, ACHP-SW. This group offers a warm, supportive space to connect with others who understand the experience of navigating grief during the holiday season.
Together, participants will have space to share and reflect while exploring gentle, practical ways to cope with grief, care for themselves, navigate holiday expectations and traditions, and honor the people they are missing.
There is no expectation to share more than you are comfortable with. Come as you are and take what you need from the space.

Join Earthshine Holistics at Cozy Corner Counseling for an intimate tea and breathwork experience created to help you slow down and reconnect. Choose from three thoughtfully brewed herbal blends as you settle into a peaceful space and learn how intentional breathing can support calm and greater self-awareness.
You’ll then be guided through a grounding breathwork practice followed by quiet reflection. No experience is needed. Simply arrive as you are and allow yourself the space to breathe.
Space is intentionally limited to 10 guests per session.

Soak up the final days of summer and ease into back-to-school season with The Mom Market: Summer Glow—a curated, open-air marketplace featuring local makers, women-owned businesses, and community connection at the Bethlehem Rose Garden. It’s the perfect way to take in the late-summer vibes with your family, your friends, or a solo coffee in hand.
This market is extra special: we’re partnering with nonprofit Kids Market to welcome kid entrepreneurs ages 5–17 as official vendors. There will be a dedicated section of the market to support these young minds as they launch their ideas, sell to real customers, and experience what it means to build something of their own. We’re so excited to have them popping up alongside us this summer.
Kids Market’s mission is to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in kids by giving them real opportunities to create, sell, and succeed—through hands-on market experiences that build confidence, creativity, and life skills. Entrepreneurship isn’t just about making money; it’s about discovering your potential, learning from real-life challenges, and developing the courage to try. Through every booth, pitch, and sale, kids learn to think big, work hard, and believe in their ideas.
All day long, you’ll also find free kids’ activities, including sensory play, kids’ yoga, and a fun obstacle course to get their wiggles out. Barre3 will be kicking off the morning with an adult workout class, plus we’ll have playful face painting, our groovy DJ setting the tone, and so much more to explore.

Led by trauma-aware breath coach Taisha Alonzo, this welcoming experience will introduce practical breathing techniques that can help reduce stress, regulate emotions, improve focus, and cultivate a greater sense of calm in everyday life.
Throughout the session, you'll learn how intentional breathing supports nervous system regulation and overall well-being while experiencing guided breathwork practices in a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment. Whether you're navigating stress, looking to strengthen your mindfulness practice, or simply curious about the benefits of breathwork, this workshop offers accessible tools you can continue using long after the event.
