Meet Lauren Gill, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and I work with people just like you and me. Who have had trauma. Who have gone through their own personal hell.
That’s why I wanted to be a therapist. To heal myself since no other therapist could, and believe me, I have seen my fair share. I was the client for years but never saw any change. That’s because my brain and my body were so disconnected and I was living in a trauma response all day, every day.
Clients I work Best with:
I work best with those who notice patterns of self-sabotage, self-doubt, or pulling back when things start to feel good and want to understand why. You may sense that these patterns come from earlier experiences where safety, worth, or consistency were disrupted.
I work from a trauma-informed, EMDR-focused approach, integrating talk therapy, mindfulness, and practical emotion-regulation tools to help you gently uncover where these patterns began and create new ways of relating to yourself and the world. Sessions move at your pace, with an emphasis on safety, compassion, and understanding not what is “wrong” with you, but what you’ve been through.

Because I understand firsthand what it’s like to be in therapy for years and still feel stuck. I know what it’s like when insight alone isn’t enough because your brain and body are disconnected and you’re living in a trauma response day after day.
My work is rooted in helping you bridge that gap through trauma-informed, body-aware approaches like EMDR, alongside practical tools that create real, felt change. I don’t just help you talk about what happened. I help your nervous system learn that it’s safe now.
