Meet Sarah Babcock, LPC

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and I work with adults and young adults who are navigating life experiences that can feel overwhelming, heavy, or hard to process alone. Many of the people I work with are healing from trauma, including survivors of domestic violence, adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum changes, or managing anxiety and mood related challenges. You may feel like you are holding a lot beneath the surface, and are looking for a space where you can finally slow down and be understood.

Therapy with me is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I take a person centered approach, which means I focus on creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and heard, while also meeting you where you are each week. Some sessions may be focused on building coping skills, while others may be more conversational and reflective, processing whatever is coming up in the moment. I bring empathy, authenticity, and even a bit of humor into the room, because I believe healing happens when you feel comfortable enough to be your full self. My goal is to help you build resilience, deepen self awareness, and move toward a place of healing that feels meaningful and sustainable for you.

Clients I work Best with:

I work best with adults and young adults who are carrying experiences that feel heavy, confusing, or hard to process on their own. You may be healing from trauma, including domestic violence, adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum changes, or navigating anxiety, depression, or mood shifts that feel overwhelming. Many of the people I work with are trying to make sense of what they’ve been through while also figuring out how to move forward in a way that feels safe and manageable.

My work is person centered and trauma informed, focusing on creating a space where you can slow down, process your experiences, and feel supported without pressure. Sessions move at your pace and are shaped by what you need, whether that’s building coping skills, having space to talk things through, or simply showing up as you are. Together, we focus on understanding your experiences, strengthening resilience, and helping you feel more grounded and connected to yourself.
