Meet Courtney Santos, LPC

In-Person & Telehealth in PA

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and I work with children, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating big emotions, life changes, and challenges that can start to feel overwhelming. You or your child may be struggling with anxiety, sadness, stress, attention and focus, friendships, family dynamics, grief, or behavior concerns. Many families come to therapy feeling unsure of where to start, and that’s okay.

Therapy with me is warm, down to earth, and tailored to each person’s needs. With kids and preteens, I often use play based and creative approaches to help them express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe. I am also trained in EMDR, which can be helpful for processing difficult experiences and reducing the intensity of overwhelming emotions. I believe strongly in partnering with caregivers and view therapy as a team effort, because your insight and connection matter. Whether we are talking, playing, or building skills together, my goal is to create a space where you or your child feel understood, supported, and never alone as we take things one step at a time.

Clients I work Best with:

I work best with children, teens, young adults, and families who are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions or life changes and are looking for support they can trust. You may notice anxiety, frequent meltdowns, trouble focusing, behavior challenges, school stress, friendship struggles, or changes in mood that feel hard to manage. Many of the families I work with come in feeling unsure, worried, or exhausted, and just want help understanding what their child is experiencing and how to best support them.

My work is trauma informed and developmentally supportive, blending conversation, play, and evidence based approaches to help clients feel safe and understood. Sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive, with an emphasis on building trust, emotional regulation, and coping skills. I partner closely with caregivers throughout the process, focusing not on blame or fixing, but on understanding, connection, and helping each child or young person grow with confidence and resilience.
