Hi, I’m Adam Marin!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping teenagers, college students, and adults. I love working with individuals that are eager to improve their mental health, and are willing to learn about themselves and implement tools needed to meet their treatment goals. I enjoy helping anyone with the courage to seek therapy and take this opportunity to redeem themselves to finding what they may have lost or never knew they had.

My approach is to empower and help guide individuals to be "psychologically flexible". I love incorporating modalities such as Acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to help you win the struggles that you have with yourself every day. Whether that be past or present trauma experiences, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, ADHD, personality disorders, OCD, or relationship issues. Together, we can identify and explore what it is that is causing you psychological pain and learn what skills/strategies will help provide you with the ability to not let life struggles/stressors cause you distress.

The stigma around therapy can sound really frightening to you, especially if this is your first time seeking it. My goal as your therapist is to help guide you in identifying the barriers that are preventing you from living the life you want to live. That starts with me using a client-centered and collaborative approach. The truth is, you're the superhero wearing the cape on this journey, and I am here to back you up.
